Programs for Patients & the Public
We offer and participate in workshops, seminars and online webinars year-round. Check out the upcoming schedule of events.
Our team educates and empowers people living with cancer, and those attempting to prevent cancer, on how to take better control of their own health. Patients are encouraged to take an active role in their healing process through the adoption of self-care practices that support their body, mind and spirit. For instance, they learn about the role of nutrition, enabling them to make wise food choices that may hinder rather than promote cancer growth.
We collaborate with institutions, community associations, and local businesses on seminars and workshops to inform the public about prevention and complementary cancer care.
